Desk Organizer

Right off the bat let me say that PETG filament is the bee's knees, the cat's miaow, the kipper's knickers! :-).

My experience with trying to print something this large in ABS is documented in the Gotchas page, and it was not pretty.

With PETG and no heated build chamber, not even a draft excluder, this nearly flawless print is the result:

Another bonus: This took 16h 9m 14s to print, so I have confirmation I can print all night without anything catching on fire :-). The Layerneer Bed Weld I used also worked great. Not the slightest sign of print curling up and as the bed cooled, I could hear little crackly crunchy noises as it released. Once it was fully cooled, poking the edge of my pry tool under it popped it right off the bed. So the PETG and Layerneer combo is wonderful.

P.S. I didn't really need a desk organizer that badly (though it is handy), I just wanted to test a large print that would take a long time. I've put this modification of the original up on thingiverse.
