Air Fryer Baked Fresh Cut FriesThe Air Fryer Baked Fresh Cut Fries recipe gave me the general parameters to follow for making fresh cut french fries in the instant vortex: 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Prep by rinsing a couple of times in water, drying off, and coating with a bit of olive oil. If these come out really awesome, I may have to invest in a french fry cutter (just used my knife and a ruler for this experiment). Conclusions: They were good (hard to make french fries bad), but more chewy than crispy on the outside. Maybe should have tried the additional baking soda wash from the original recipe (or more oil), but I think what I'll really do is just stick to frozen fries in the future (and if I have a potato to use up, the baked potato recipe is a better choice). No need to order a french fry cutter :-). |
