Air Fryer Baked Potato

The Air Fryer Baked Potato recipe gave me the general parameters to follow for baking a potato in the instant vortex: 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Prep by poking holes and coating with a bit of olive oil.

Other internet research says 205 to 210 degrees is the best internal temperature for a fully baked potato, so you can use a thermometer to check (and also feel if the probe goes in easily).

The potato I cooked probably should have gone a bit longer, but I was impatient for lunch. I make it a loaded potato with butter, cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives. Since it takes 40 minutes to cook, there is plenty of time to cook a couple of strips of bacon in the cast iron pan. After filling the potato up with goodies, I put it back in the vortex for another five minutes to get the cheese melty. It was very good.
