Egg SaladTaste: Pretty good.Cleanup: Pretty simple.Ingredients: All available at PublixI use the brilliant hack to cook eggs I first read about here: Oma's Easy Egg Salad Recipe I use the ingredients from here: Egg Salad (because I like more than just mayo in egg salad). The hack of breaking the eggs into a pyrex bowl, and cooking bowl and all in the instant pot up on a trivit is brilliant. It is so much simpler to crack the eggs into the bowl than it is to peel them later. And the egg salad comes out very tasty. I used it in some egg salad wraps. (The yolks may be a little harder than normal hard boiled eggs, perhaps slightly less cooking time than five minutes would work better). The only time consuming part was greasing the bowl first with a hunk of butter (probably Pam or something would be simpler, but I had some butter). |
