Braised Brisket

Taste: No too bad.

Cleanup: Instant pot, cutting board, knife, immersion blender.

Ingredients: All available at Publix

I'm trying this Pressure Cooker Braised Brisket recipe.

I'm making it just as described today, but I wonder if it wouldn't also work with brown gravy mix instead of the BBQ-like sauce in this recipe. I may try that someday.

Finally got this out of the instant pot, and it seemed chewier than I expected even with the 75 minute cooking time. Tasted OK though, but I'll probably try it with the brown gravy next time.

Made this again, and maybe I had better brisket this time, came out great (only cooked it 50 minutes, not 75). The sauce was good as well, I don't think I need the brown gravy. Possibly having a little over three pounds made the cook time work better.
