Table Saw Push Stick

I put this up on thingiverse at Table Saw Push Stick.

I've recently revised the thingiverse upload to fix a bug and include a feature to allow the lip for pushing to be different depths on the two sides. Here's a finished one I printed with a 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch lip and sandpaper glued on with spray glue:

Back to the original info:

I haven't 3D printed anything for a while, but recently I started spiffing up my table saw, and figured I could use 3D printing to help, so here's a push stick I printed based on the stick presented in this video. Gave me a chance to work on my OpenSCAD skills to give everything rounded off edges.

The size is pushing the limits of my printer (also took about 5 and half hours):

Here it is with all the strings cleaned up:

Still need to glue on some sandpaper strips. May have made the edge that does the pushing a little too small (time will tell). OK, I glued on the sandpaper and it has a bit of thickness, so really I should have left the lip 1/4 inch, because the sandpaper will bring it up enough to avoid scraping the table top when pushing 1/4 inch plywood.

I updated the OpenSCAD files with a new parameter controlling which holes to print, so if you are worried about getting fingers trapped, you can print a solid one (or just leave one hole to hang it from).

The continuing saga of the table saw improvements can be found here.
