Wire Shelf Dividers

I've uploaded this to thingiverse as Wire Shelf Dividers.

Getting stuff organized, I invented these wire shelf vertical dividers for storing large flat things on edge (in this case cutting boards, sheet pans, and wire cooling racks). The 3D printed T joint attaches a wooden slat at 90 degrees to a dowel:

The ends of the dowels get these caps with a groove that rests in the wire shelf:

Attach the dowels and slats with super glue, put it all together and the slats hang down between the wires on the lower shelf, thus preventing them from moving very much, and you get a bunch of organized stuff taking up less space than it did previously:

In this case the dowels are 1/4 inch and the slats are paint stir sticks cut to length (because they were cheap and 3 to a pack at Home Depot). The openscad files can be adjusted to different dimensions for the parts.

I may need a more positive way to fix the ends of the dowels to the shelf. I'll see how often I knock these loose in practice.
