Tomato SoupThis tomato soup recipe looks dead simple, so I'm giving it a try. No fresh basil, so I added some dried basil up front. Used a can of the San Marzano tomatoes which I also use for my tomato sauce. No large onions, so I used a whole small yellow onion (I like more onion anyway). Just blended this up and am having half of it for dinner. It is wonderful, especially not blended totally smooth, the little chunks of onion are nice. The other half goes in the fridge. |
