Neil Gaiman PorridgeThis blog post has Neil Gaiman's recipe for porridge buried down near the end. After making paneer cheese, I had a batch of whey I kept because all the internet advice on cheese says save it for good things like making bread or oatmeal. That reminded me of Neil's porridge recipe, so I decided to try it with whey in place of water. Turned out wonderful. I have no idea if the whey contributed anything to the flavor, but the butter toasted oats certainly do. |
