Dahi ToastThe Washington Post published this Grilled Indian yogurt sandwiches recipe which looked really good. Conclusion: It is good (as long as you leave out the poisonous evil cilantro). I substituted a few mint leaves for cilantro (don't want too much or it will taste like a mint sandwich). Note for me: On my stove somewhat less than medium heat seems to be best, the butter burns almost instantly at medium. The Stonyfield organic greek yogurt I got this time seems to be much better than the Publix brand I've bought previously. I chopped a whole head of cabbage, so now I have coleslaw ingredients as well (may try the yogurt instead of mayo). |
