Air Fryer Fish SandwichStep 1: Toast two pieces of bread on top shelf at level 3 on the toast setting. Flip them upside down on a plate so the most toasted side will be on outside of sandwich. (Thin slices are better so you don't have more bread than fish.) Step 2: Spray a little oil on try, add two of the Gorton's battered fish fillets and give them a little spray of oil as well, then air fry at 380 for 10 minutes. Step 3: Push the crispy fillets together on the tray to make a slice of bread size rectangle (big ends of the triangular fillets at opposite sides). Add layer of cheddar cheese and pop back in air fryer on middle shelf so cheese doesn't blow around, start air fryer and turn on light to monitor when cheese gets melty. Step 4: Add tartar sauce to one slice of toast, lift fish rectangle off tray with spatula and place on tartar sauce, push second slice of bread into the melty cheese. Step 5: Eat sandwich. It was definitely pretty good. Step 6: Clean up all the dirty trays, spatula, etc. (There is a lot of dripping into the bottom tray, so it is a bit messy.) |
