Clam PizzaThis French Bread Clam Pizza recipe was published in the Washington Post, and it looked to me like it was begging to be made in the air fryer. I made the topping exactly as described, but for the bread I used two English muffins split open so I had 4 mini pizzas. The amount of topping the recipe makes seems to fit well on the 4 pizzas, so there are no leftovers to deal with. I put the muffins in the air fryer bottom up and used the toast setting to get them warmed up, then I flipped them over, piled on the topping and cooked them for two minutes at 400 degrees. The cheese was a little bubbly and the edges of the muffins were browned in that time. Drizzled the lemon juice from the wedges over them and ate them. They were pretty good. I think I might make the "big pinch" of red pepper flakes a smaller pinch next time, but that's the only change. |
