Fiddling

On May 11th, 2017 President Trump went on NBC and bragged about obstructing justice by saying he fired Comey over "the Russia thing":

The reaction of the so-called republican "leadership" was a collective "meh!". (Imagine, if you will, Hillary as President bragging about obstruction of justice...)

After seething over this for a while, I did the only thing I could think of, a pointless quixotic jesture:

And it has now been delivered:

I don't really expect to hear anything about this again, but if I do, I'll add it here :-).

Just since this was shipped, we've had Trump leaking classified information to the Russians, Comey (who's firing was the original obstruction of justice that triggered this violin gift) report that Trump (in another obstruction of justice) asked Comey to drop the Flynn investigation. And probably some other stuff I can't even remember...

They'll be a little preoccupied on capitol hill now, so I doubt responding to a snarky gift will be a high priority.

...well, this is sort of a response. I guess they returned it:

No respect for the poor small businessman violin salesmen of America.
