Light Baffles

This is on thingiverse as Light Baffles.

In my quest to eliminate annoying LEDs flickering in my bedroom, I have some gadgets that need ventilation, but have lights shining out of every surface (the first example is a Linksys ethernet switch).

That led me to design these generic light baffles I hope to be able to resize and use in the construction of enclosures. Hopefully some flat black paint and/or aluminum tape will prevent light from escaping while allowing air to circulate.

The above is a test print showing how the parts fit together. It looks promising, but I haven't built a full scale enclosure for the switch yet to test them under fire.
