Instant Pot Paneer

Taste: Very good.

Cleanup: Not bad, couple of pots and the colander.

Ingredients: Publix has everything.

I'm Using this Instant Pot Paneer recipe.

I'll find out if this actually works when I try it this weekend. [It does work! But I had to use whole milk, all the half and half was ultra-pasteurized].

My stock pot has a colander that fits in the top, so that should be good for the initial pour over cheesecloth, then I can just gather up the cloth and weigh it down with a flat bottom pyrex container I have filled with water so all the drippage goes into the stock pot.

It works! I got a baggie full of cheese cubes out of it which will go into my leftover butter chicken sauce along with some peas. Quite good. Also saved the whey to see if I can use it for something. [Note: Great for making oatmeal!]

The cheese itself tastes like unsalted cottage cheese (which is basically what it is), but compressing it for a while makes it possible to cut into cubes that are a lot firmer than cottage cheese.
